And it didn’t involve starting a new party, but ripping out the stony hearts of a complacent set of conservatives, and setting them on fire with a passion for their country.
There were discussions about whether a new party would simply split and destroy the Republican Party, and I think there is a chance that could have happened. But instead what happened is the best possible result, a small but passionate minority has taken over and taking ownership of their political futures.
And the political establishment is terrified.
