In a long thread, @innercitypress typed out the transcript of Trump’s case today v. E Jean Carroll, and this little bit came out:
The simple facts are:
- Carroll DELETED evidence that was subpoenaed
- Trumps attorney, Habba, sought to clarify if Carroll knew this was illegal
- Carroll’s attorney objected
- Habba moved for a mistrial on the basis of ADMITTED evidence deletion.
- Judge Kaplan denied the move to mistrial
- Judge Kaplan ordered the jury to disregard this mistrial-able offense.
These are criminals.
